RADAR SYSTEM BLOCK DIAGRAM
The radar system's simplified workflow is as follows:
The Pulse Generator produces pulses, which are amplified by the Power Amplifier (PA).
The Radar Circulator routes the amplified pulses to the antenna (implied, as it’s a key radar component for signal transmission/reception).
A Coupler taps off part of the signal from the Oscillator, which serves as the Local Oscillator (LO) signal.
Reflected signals from targets are received back, passing through the Circulator and Receiver Protector to the Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for amplification.
The received signal and LO signal are mixed in the Mixer, then processed by the I/Q Detector.
The processed signal is converted to a digital format via the Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) and synchronized.
Finally, the Signal Processor analyzes the digital signal, and results are presented on the Display.
